Centrally located on beautiful Long Island New York’s south shore, Lynbrook was founded in 1894. The name "Lynbrook" is derived from "Brooklyn", as a tribute to the original home of many of the town's turn-of-the century residents.

It was hosted by the Lynbrook Chamber of Commerce and the wonderful Polly Talbott from A La Carte. Mayor Hendrick was in attendance as well.
Village Car Service offered free transportation for Lynbrook HS Prom goers from the Lynbrook HS after party at the Lynbrook pool to home.

The Per Sempre Lodge 2344 remembers 9/11 on their facebook page with a photo of Lynbrook's memorial tribute to everyone that lost their lives that sad day of September 11, 2001 the photos are of the steel recovered from the twin towers.
